got robbed yesterday

confronted some people digging graves for a couple of dead dogs in front of my house
they ripped the phone out of my hand and attacked me with a machete when I ran after them
police arrived fast, but the perps were long gone

not a good day in Baja

Whoa, that's pretty scary. Were you filming them? Thank goodness you weren't injured.

All because of a cheap piece of electronics. I guess you never know.

yeah, I took pictures of them

the 2 dogs they were putting in the ground looked like they had been beaten to death
not the usual dog fight wounds

Some here would suggest when being robbed, you give the perps whatever they want. I'm not one to suggest that.

I'm wondering if you have a machete handy?

I'm sorry to hear this news 4x4. Hopefully your photos automatically upload to your google account. I have mine and the wifes' set up like this for
this very reason. They are also set up to geolocate and turn off if I send a signal from my laptop or another phone.

If you have pics, can you post them? Ya never know who may recognize the perps.

Sorry you had to go through that Harald... Why would anyone bury anything in a street or close to a home??!! A short drive from your place would be
away from people.

I am so sorry to hear this. It is AWFUL. If they beat the dogs, they are sick humans. To attack you is even sicker.

Oh well. Confronting often leads to confrontation.
Good you are not hurt at least.

BTW, So I don't have to post on another thread, keep the GE Baja research coming.

The data bases you are putting together on waterfalls, ECR and other interesting points is a real asset to this board. Gracias!

That is a damn shame about the robbery of your phone. I wish I could find my slides from Diablo canyon taken 65 years ago. We came across some good
waterfalls and pools, one of which we had to swim across to get up the canyon.
