It is usually available at BoLA. Buy as soon as you enter town.

I think it was only out once in the dozen times I've been there. That time I was able to get it out of a barrel at the Jct. of Hwy1.

One time they had diesel, but no gas. 3 guys on moto's were getting ready to ride towards San Fransquito. They were super happy I gave them 5
gallons of gas I had in a jug for our bikes.

Gonzaga Bay is a lot more dodgy on fuel availability.

John, Valle de la Trinidad has two stations. The first is where the paved side road goes into town, seen from Hwy. 3. The second, larger station (in
2017) is in town, on a cross street west of the paved entrance road. You should be able to spot it on Google Earth and maybe Street View.

I do not recall if either sells diesel, but with so much agriculture in this valley, odds are good that one does.

The Pemex off of highway3 on the right heading to SF has diesel. I've always been lucky in both Gonzaga and BoLA neither has been out of diesel but
gasoline yes.

BOLA may run out of diesel during big events such as the Baja 1000 (Score or Norra), or during the holidays when there is a lot of travel. I have
been bitten by this one time. If you are travelling during or near a big event, I suggest bringing a few 5 gallon cans for peace of mind.

Back-up fuel is seemingly always available, 40 miles away at the Hwy. 1 & BahÃa de L.A. junction. Also, 8 miles south, at the first market on the
west as you approach Punta Prieta, sells 'emergency gas'.

| BOLA turn-off?

I was wondering about the vendors at the turn off Highway 1. Good to know.

 Does Gonzaga ever have diesel?

Gonzaga has diesel. Is also possible at Rancho Grande market. But better to fuel up before you need it. The only time I ever had to get diesel at
Gonzaga was after a rv caravan had fueled up at BoLA and emptied the tanks there. That was many years ago.
