Missing
Posting for family friend;
Doug Smith has not made contact with family members since February 2023. He is a resident of Denver, Colorado. Last communication was of his intent to
seek having dental work done in Mexico. Because of proximity and notoriety of popular for dental work, it is possible Doug was headed to Algodones,
Mexico. Although with the amount of time passing, he may have decided to venture to other Baja locations. The family is exploring all possibilities as
to Doug’s whereabouts and seeks help from anyone having possibly seen Doug.

More info needed. Was he driving or taking a bus? Has anyone checked if he crossed into Mexico? Most all border crossings have video and other systems
that the public aren't aware of, worth seeing if he crossed.
Granted, often times we are just waved in. Any hits on bank or credit cards showing where he might have traveled.
Hope he turns up.

So no explanation for why this guy crossed the border to get dental work done and then didn't bother contacting family or friends for over 2 months?

What did you expect?
I'm sure the family and he didn't want their personal info out on the internet.

Usually when there is a call put out that someone is missing, and asking for any leads, when there is a resolution, it's usually accompanied by some
explanation.

Who knows, he could have gottin' drunk on Tequila, met a hot Latina in the cantina and been shacked up with her until his money ran out ????
Stranger things have happened.
Just glad he's OK...
Since I've given up all hope, I feel much better

False.
They don't owe your curiosity anything.
Just be a good person and be happy for them. Move along.
