Ireland and Wales: Who has been? Any good recommendations?
We are gonna do a 2 week family trip there soon. Been to Ireland a bunch but mostly for work, except exploring around Cork and West Cork in late
2019.
This trip we are going to be home based in Galway in Ireland and Cardiff in Wales.
Anyone have good recs on stuff to do/see? We'll have a small SUV. It is a manual. Gonna be interesting shifting with the left hand.

Socialism and strong govt is not all bad, eh? Strong social democracy and healthy paternalistic govt control of land planning makes some of those UK
places pretty nice. In the USA we would have to bulldoze those old estates and narrow streets and put in mega malls and 4-lane streets with strip
malls and bill boards. Better than Orlando or Dallas

Woke!
“...ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” “My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America
will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”
Prefered gender pronoun: the royal we

Nice fotos. I'm thinking a trip over there would be great. How are the locals treating you?
Goat, only Northern Ireland is in the UK.

The people in Wales and Ireland could not be any nicer. It's amazing how polite they are. Nothing like LA. Reminds me of the mid-West or South, but
even better.
If I had to do it again I would have skipped Wales and stayed the entire time in Galway, Ireland. We've driven about 1,000 miles. Only regret is we
didn't have time to drive down to West Cork.
Went to a bunch of pubs with my two boys.

The Irish are wonderful. Except for my first wife.
I do have a funny story about County Cork where my wife is from. For another time.
Exercise regularly. Eat sensibly. Die anyway.
