There is a reason why Consumers like Ranger better than Tacoma. It is all in the details. Latest models and it shows Tacoma with improvement over
previous versions.

"The Ranger Raptor shares Ford’s T6 platform with the Bronco Raptor and its twin-turbo V6, making 405 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque here."
It's excessive, IMO. I prefer a non-turbo 250-horsepower engine. Don't turbochargers wear out faster than other engine parts?

I know, it's debatable. But turbos add complexity. I wonder how much horsepower the engine would produce without turbocharging. It's probably enough
to get me down any Baja road.
I wouldn't buy a turbocharged vehicle. Just my opinion.

I know it is a different world, but the 1969 D-6 Caterpillar that my dad bought is still running on what I believe is the original turbo!
