I don't know if this linked article adds anything to the discussion, but at least it is a published report. Excerpt below.
https://www.borderreport.com/immigration/border-crime/2-narc...
"Written in Spanish, the warnings say: “You will be the ones to blame. We’ll show how we’ll make this war starting 5/10/2025 on all Americans
residing in areas where we have a presence … especially those living in San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.”
The banners go on to say, “We are the ones who rule here and we’ll demonstrate what we are capable of if you don’t stop arresting our people and
decommissioning our loads and weapons.”
While not discrediting the existence of the banners, Mexico’s attorney general in the state of Baja California Sur said between April and July of
this year, 46 similar narco-banners were placed throughout the state that turned out to be “false and unsubstantiated meant to infuse fear into
residents.”"

Thanks to sanquintinsince73 for the timely reporting about this.
Sorry you took flak for trying to warn others about a possibly serious threat to life.
I appreciate these types of warnings, even while hoping the threats are not followed by actions.

Drone attack hits prosecutor's office near U.S. border in Mexico
October 16, 2025 / 11:13 AM EDT / CBS/AP
A drone attack hit the prosecutor's office in the Mexican border city of Tijuana, a key hub for drug trafficking, authorities said Wednesday without
identifying the suspected assailants.
Baja California state prosecutor Maria Elena Andrade told reporters that the attack with three explosive-laden drones caused some damage but resulted
in no casualties.
The prosecutor's office said on Facebook that the attack hit the anti-kidnapping unit of the state attorney general's office. In a social media post,
the state attorney general said that "no attack will stop investigative work or commitment to justice."

Drone attacks by consumer-size drones is the 21st century guerilla warfare, simialr to the guerilla warfare that decimated usa in 1960s and 1970s,
perfected by the ukrainians and russians in just the past few years. Trump is going to war with venezuela, and he may be successful if the war is
limited to remote air strikes.
But the minute trump puts troops near or in venezeala and mexico during his ill-conceived (insane) wars, the drone attacks will decimate USA resolve
for ill-conceived wars like trump’s quixotic quest against narcos and others who don't bow to the orange/gold buffoon deity.
Anywho, the days of aerial drone bombing via consumer drones with IEDs is here. Golden Shield aint going to help you… the new warfare is drones
with IEDs.

Woke!
Hands off!
“Por el bien de todos, primero los pobres.”
“...ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” “My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America
will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”
Pronoun: the royal we

Countering the Drone Threat: Steps for the U.S. Military
https://www.heritage.org/defense/report/countering-the-drone...
"While the U.S. has taken important initial steps to develop advanced counter-drone systems and training programs, these steps remain fragmented,
underfunded, and unevenly implemented across the joint force. To maintain its strategic advantage on the world stage, the U.S. must not only
accelerate the deployment of scalable, cost-effective counter-drone technologies but also institutionalize mandatory training and doctrine updates
across all military branches. The wars of the future will be fought, and decided, in contested airspace, with drones acting as key enablers across
multiple domains."

I am not sure there is one, at present.
Would like to read of any ideas you might have.
There is probably a solution for illegal immigration in a level of prosperity that sees those immigrants with no desire to leave their country. How
you get to that point is a challenge which so far has not been met successfully.
The illegal drug trade is another matter. Even in the 'roaring twenties' in the US, when there was great prosperity and opportunity, there were still
people who preferred a life of crime.

I suspect that human nature has changed very little since the dawn of humanity. Even when people were living in caves and every day was a struggle to
survive, which required co-operation, I'll bet there were those who tried to sneak and hoard more than their share of the food, feigned sickness so
they wouldn't have to participate in hunting or gathering, and left their clubs and other paraphernalia laying around for their fellow cave-dwellers
to trip over in the dark.
When I was a kid, about 8 years old, there was a kid on our block who was older than the rest of us- he was about 12. I even remember his name, even
though we only lived there for 2 years. He taught all of us younger kids how to play poker, then proceeded to beat us all (he probably cheated some of
the time, but we would have been too young and clueless to notice), winning our allowance money, toys, or whatever we could scrounge up to ante. He
also used to save up popsicle wrappers to send in in exchange for toys, then hold sales in his garage, selling the stuff to the neighborhood kids. He
was a born hustler. I've wondered what became of him- whether he became a legal or illegal hustler. I can't imagine him having become some upstanding
citizen volunteering to help those less fortunate than himself. (Mind you, this was a typical white suburban middle-class neighborhood in middle
America in the 50's, not some ghetto where kids learn early how to hustle and survive.)

Choose your vacation spots carefully. There is a huge difference between the risk in Tijuana and the risk in La Paz. Or at least that's what all the
travel sites claim.

Last time I checked all the world conflicts started under the Auto-Pen. Trump has ended multiple wars.

Sure, JZ, all the world's conflicts started between 2020 and 2025. And this thread is about cartels threatening to kill Americans, not an opportunity
for more of your Biden bashing and Trump glorification.
