ToyotasInBaja announces Baja Fun Run Campout Jan. 23-26, 2026

My amigo Dave W. (see my May 2025 trip report: https://vivabaja.com/baja-525/ ) and I co-administer the Toyotas in Baja Facebook group. Anyone who drives a Toyota (or Lexus) product in Baja is welcome!
Dave wanted to host an event where members could meet and join in on camping and driving together. This is for Baja newbies or veteran Baja travelers. Not sure if I will be able to attend due to an upcoming surgery!

The brand of vehicle someone drives means they are "like-minded"?

Pretty pathetic to bond over what make of vehicle one happens to drive.

That you would make such an unkind remark to an invitation for a Baja fun run and campout is pathetic. Jeep owners, Land Rover owners, and other brand owners bond outdoors all the time. The Mexicans have both Jeep and Toyota 4x4 clubs in Baja... are they pathetic? Merry Christmas sourpuss.

Brand fandom is an odd thing. I have worn Levis for as long as i can remember… but would never consider selecting travel partners based on wearing Levis.
Cars for me have always been a necessary evil. I got no brand loyalty for cars, they all do the same thing…

Woke!

Hands off!

“Por el bien de todos, primero los pobres.”

“...ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” “My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”

Pronoun: the royal we

Under cover Honda

Do you think if I stick Toya emblems on my Element I would be able to blend right in?

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!
