Yes, thanks, Doug.

Can someone please explain to me the meaning of that "devil's horns" hand gesture that a bunch of people made to the camera?

It seems really common lately and I've never understood it; to the contrary, I'd never use it in Mexico because of the possibility of misunderstanding...

Metal fans use “horns” hand sign it as way to say “rock on.” Common hand sign among middle-aged man-boys who are in their 40s and 50s and still listen to Metallica.

Maybe they were throwing “shaka” hand sign? Which is diff than horns hand sign…

These guys are out gathering together and spreading Baja love and cheer, but you can't help but sit at home all alone on your computer and insult them.

They aren't throwing devil horns. Did you even watch the video. It's a shaka. Just dudes having fun and being positive.

Apparently he didn't bother to watch it-- after some more research I figured out the difference, and it looks like all of them but 2:02 in the video were "shakas".

But I'm still puzzled; I've not seen either used among my peers, is this a hip California thing or something?

You don't see me making any 'gang' signs, other that the thumbs up in the video... lol!

Shaka is popular in Hawaii as seen/ heard in the song 'Driving my Toyota'
