Have any BajaNomads been to New Zealand?
We are starting to plan a trip there in the next 6-7 months. Likely flying in from Sydney.
Who has been? What did you do?

Yes, just for a day in Auckland and it was back on Dec. 31, 1969. I needed a visa for Australia. The taxi driver was super nice and offered to provide
us with a day tour until our flight to Sydney later that day.

Was on both North and South Island in March 2024. Beautiful countryside with natual wonders. If you like to hike there are hikes all over. Great wine
tasting on both islands. Took a helicopter up to the Franz Joesph Glacier and hiked. Allso did a four day guided hike through th Hollyford Wilderness
that ende in a helicopter ride through the Milford Sound. The cities look like the cities in California. In fact there is a Redwood Forest with a sign
that reads " Welcome to the California Redwoods.I would plan at least 2 to three weeks if you want to visit both islands.

I've been a couple of times. As mentioned above fantastic hiking on both Islands plus excellent surf on both. Glaciers on the south Island and
skiing.Queenstown and the Remarkables are a must. I skied Mt. Hutt on my birthday in August. For cities I really liked Christchurch. For adreneline
junkies lots of bridge bungee jumping or you can take the Picton Ferry thru the Cook Straights in 30ft seas (like I did)

I'm pro-same sex marriage, trans, and only against late term abortion (Europe does it right). Looking forward to meeting the indigenous Polynesians.
Tell us about their immigration polices. Spoiler, they are very good.

What I'm against all all the radical stuff that is in your head like chemically castrating children, letting dudes swing their dicks in girls' spaces,
letting homeless chiit and sex in public, redistribution of wealth, endless race baiting for political gain, open borders and 15,000,000 illegals
invading America, allowing teachers to talk about sex with our kids (5-11 yo's), transitioning kids without parents knowledge, etc, etc.

In other words, you are against things that New Zealanders are not against.
And you are too dumb to realize that redistribution of wealth and a strong social safety net, things you rail against, is why New Zealand doesn't have
the homeless street problems that the US does.
Anyway, I'm all for you spending your money in a country where the vast majority revile those with your social and political views.

I looked into skiing and you can't Nov to June. Bummer. I'm highly considering renting a camper van and taking it across the straight on the ferry.
Holy crap, how rough was it?

My wife's favorite wines come from Marlborough. I looked up a couple of the vineyards already. It's definitely on the list.
