Where Did All the 'NOMIGOS' Go???
Is everyone already in Baja for New Year's? So quiet on the board! Anyway, this gave me an opportunity to use the great new nick name that Natalie Ann
came up with. She said I could use it, too... Baja Nomads + Amigos (de Baja) = NOMIGOS.
The kids and I will be on the road all day Tuesday heading for Camp Gecko, Bahia de los Angeles.
Since the road south of Puertecitos is so good, we might go that way to avoid all the city and farm town traffic from the border to San Quintin. If
you see my gold Tacoma, give us a wave! I will have Viva Baja stickers for anyone who wants one.
Happy New Year Nomigos!

What?!
Well, Reefocket, I was having dinner in Juancalito on the 26th! That was after spending the day at the beach behind the "driftwood internet cafe". Yes
they are closed until after the New year, but thats your place for phone calls, faxes, internet, and great coffee drinks(with Kahlua or other
options!)So sorry we missed each other! I'll be back in the spring to go fishing, I hope!Have a great trip and watch for those tides and waves there
in Juncalito. I'd go to Puerto Escondido and fish off the pier if you get the chance. I can't beleive how many fish are in that puerto! Hasta, Sally

Hey, reefrocket. In your wanderings when you pass Connies place, wish her & his a happy New Year for me from Phil & Wendy from Roseburg. And to you
also, and to the others on this board. We should be arriving back in Loreto around the 15th of Jan. Cold & wet as usual this time of the year. I-5
was closed for over 24 hours a few days ago from Redding Cal north to Ashland, Ore. Open now. Another storm coming in I'm told.

It's even cold here in Tucson.
Got down to 20 degrees the other night. Water pipes busting all over town and my poor citrus might not make it this year. Wish I was in La Paz..-

Mochilero,
That was a pretty good movie, anyway. I agree with you on the name "nomigos". It rubs me the wrong way too. But I nevertheless, have a feeling it's
gonna stick. - Stephanie
