It is illegal for non-Mexicans to take lobster other than with a camera.

Lobster molts, to the best of my knowledge, are not seasonal, they are simply based on the age and size of the animal. Also, to my knowledge, they
are not related to water depth, I have seen molts and molting in both deep and shallow water. Plus, as Debra points out, it is illegal to take them
unless you are a Mexican citizen. Have I been enought of a wet blanket for the day?

jim janet. get a mexican to go with you, have them carry the lobster, have them cook the lobster, then share the lobster. for a few bucks they'll be
happy to help you. (just leave some for the rest of us)

Don't pay a nickle to a local to go with you.Just give him a share of the take.I'm sick of gringos paying for every little thing. The Mexicans then
start to expect it.Yes, just buy your way in.Buy love and friendship. What a crock. So many of you have ruined it for the rest of us. I've brought a "
friend " with me many times. If they are a real " friend ", they don't ask for or expect anything. But with love in my heart I ALWAYS share.Hyme

hyme, I'm talking about a "guide". Maybe a fisherman or a lobster trapper, someone whos job it is to know where the lobster are. If you have a friend
somewhere they takes you out thats great, but if you pull into town, maybe that you hadn't been to, and a local takes you to the lobster he deserves
compensation for his time. So pay the man.
