Well, yes. But they aren't in violation if they perform transactions other than that without issuing facturas? I guess I got the wrong impression from your previous message...

Thanks-- Larry

Put another way:

Every business is required to have the ability to issue facturas. This means:

A business license and all permits, displayed in full view of the customer.

An RFC# printed or written on each reciept. Which, by the way, is the law. Each time you buy anything the merchant must give you a legal receipt. Whether you request it or not.

An official numbered factura booklet or a special register capable of issuing a factura.

The idea is great but it already getting buried here.Lots of people aren't reading this because they don't know what it is we are trying to do. If we start another thread and explain what we are trying to accomplish and ask each person to add a business, we might all get the benitfits. let's not drop the ball on this,k:rolleyes:;D:yes:

Ok Keri, back to topic.

As a start I would suggest picking up a copy of the Tijuana yellow pages. It's free and available at the phone company. An English translation of all the different categories is included.

And if anyone needs anything in the TJ/Rosarito area they can come see me. If I don't personally know, I'll know someone who does.

Let me be the first to (try) answer Soulpatch's question.

In Maneadero I have used Madereria Y Ferreteria Los Flemate. A very large lumber yard. They have had everythinng I have asked for, so far. Unfortunately I haven't needed a Pila and haven't asked. They have 3 other locations listed on my "Factura's" that they have always supplied (3 times). I have been reasonably satisfied with their products. A little miffed at times with their delivery time. Average is 2 to 3 weeks. They do deliver to Bahia De Los Angeles. Twice for free and once for a fee. I think the delivery charge and time span is connected to any other orders they have headed to the bay.

Madereria Y Ferreteria Los Flemate
KM 122 No. 2581 Maneadero
Tels 01 (646) 154-03-45 Y 154-07-41

Also in Zorillo, Lopez Mateos and Santa Rosalia.
