Wild Blue Satellite Internet Service

Would anyone have any information on the Wild Blue Internet Service via satellite.

I think it's similar to DirecWay and I'm wondering if it will work in Mexico.

The word I got is that Wild Blue does not work south of Tijuana in Baja. Direcway works all the way down the peninsula.

Anyone have a different experience?

Good map and the reading material there explains why it won't work south in Baja. Spotbeam technology!

Conversation earlier with Tech Support for WB explained exactly what spotbeam tech does and does not do. Looks like the Brownsville TX spot reaches quite a ways down into mainland Mexico.

Also I have a friend who is successfully getting it as far south as Hermosillo. However, he is also using DirecWay as his main provider.
