Donald Trump in BAJA!

In today's San Diego Union Tribune... Donald Trump to build a large three building condo resort North of Rosarito. $200,000,000 - 526 unit project which will be called the Trump Ocean Resort. Read more here...

This is only the beginning... our old Baja is quickly fading. But, it's inevitable, right?

It is inevitable. There's just too much money available and too many people with deep-pockets looking for foreign resort living. After so many years of slow and erratic growth in Baja, the new explosion of resorts is disconcerting, but that's life. Nothings going to stop or slow it down.

Mood: Heading To Baja!!!

I have been wondering how a high end resort was going to exist right next to a sewage outfall. Maybe they will have special anti-bacterial showers so the guests can have a nice post-ocean rinse. I have surfed numerous times just south of there at Baja Malibu and can say from personal experience that when the swell is out of the north and the arroyo is flowing, that stretch of beach has more funk then George Clinton and Parliament.
