I sure hope that is a joke Bruce :(

.

that is not a joke:spingrin: it was reported on the local radio station today. also of interest the radio is reporting on the situation with the earth quakes.

Bruce

Isn't it about time to get all the business owners in Mulege together and in solidarity demand of the vigilancia some serious head banging on the local dirt bags ??

Are there that many meth heads in town now?

Nita .

Measuring locally might give a bigger reading than the way they do it all the way from Colorado or wherever the heck they record these things. So maybe the rumor is true.

Hoping all is well.

Aside from the part about having Nomads, friends, loved ones and others in harms way, I have to admit that it's pretty darn cool to be hearing this stuff happening virtually first hand. A huge thanks to Sheri and sirenita for keeping us arm-chair geologists up to date on what's going on in the midst of being forced out of their very home. God's speed to you and your family in this time of trial.

Plate techtonics, fault zones, volcanic activity and the like all act as constant reminders that this big 'ol ball of junk we live on called earth is ever changing. How lucky we are to be getting first hand reports about this event. Let's hope and prey that the village of Asuncion and the surrounding areas suffer as little damage as possible.
