Thank you Baja Nomad: 1,000 posts and counting.
Thank you Doug, aka Baja Nomad, for providing the super forum for Baja fever victims and info. seekers!
This morning I noticed I passed the 1,000 mark... not far behind is JR (when you combine jr baja with Ski Baja), Stephanie, and the relativly new
Nomad: academicanarchist...
Anyway, thank you for maintaining this site and fairly moderating it as well. More free speech is good, but personal slander and insults is not.
Maintaining an Off Topic/non Baja forum is a smart way to allow some of us to 'vent' without cluttering up the Baja forums, too.
I think I can share the feelings for most of the former members of Amigos de Baja in saying you have done an outstanding job maintaining a new 'home'
for us here. Gracias amigo!!!

Congratulaions, DavidK, and thank you for all those interesting posts.
I share your view that this is a great board. As you may have noticed, you and I aren't on the same page politically, but Nomads usually handle
political differences with a fair amount of civility. I once visited another Baja site, where you were the recipient of some vile words and that happy
little sun was even Xed out. I don't know and don't care why that happened, it annoyed me so much I signed off and have never gone back there. Nomads
don't always see eye-to-eye, but I don't recall any disagreements that descended that far into the gutter..
May all your future trips be happy ones!

I personally think quality is much preferable to quantity
and with tongue (only partially) in cheek, suggest that posters with 1000 posts be prohibited from further postings until at least 25% of the
remaining registered posters catch up.

As one who has a new found interest in Baja, I have found your posts to be very informative and interesting. Your off-topic posts are pretty good
too. Keep em rollin'.
