Mui interesante indeed.
I like what Barry A has to say. You are on top of something and it is moving. I also like what Juan has to say.
I had the feeling you described once in the Anthropology Museum in Mexico City. They had an earthquake and we were on the second floor. It felt like
Jell-O beneath us. Mexico City of course is built on fill and it is like cubes of jello floating in thick cream. That was one of the most unsettling
feelings of my life. The earth should be SOLID, it just feels so wrong to have it move like that. In California we used to have these rollers, like a
garden hose that is whipped. You could actually see the ground rise and fall like a wave. That is exactly what it was, a wave.
I wonder too if there is buldgeing. Does it feel like the earth is moving back and forth or up and down or both? That may give you some clue of what
is happening.
That is a LOT of seismic activity.
Stay safe.

Iflyfish...Isn't that museum fascinating? While we were there they had the 20th anniversary of the great Mexico City quake and across the street from
the museum they had hunderds of enlarged pictures of the devastation and one of our guides was there when it happened....he said it went on and on and
on and on. Unbelieveable pictures. The traffic was unimaginable so I could only think how chaotic that city would get if when another giant quake
hits. The liquifaction there will sink many buildings as like you said the whole city is built on fill....

The last one a minute ago was just a very big boom and thump like something ran into the house....the last one was kind of an up and down thing and
the first one was back and forth...Some last for 5 seconds and others just go BUMP all of a sudden...some have shattering BOOMS like thunder and
others just rumbled....go figure!! Two days ago in SAn Roque there were lots of dead crabs on the beach....don't know if someone dumped a sack of dead
ones or something killed them...hmmm. Does anyone know if they are registering today up in the states???

Cinco,
You should have seen all of the white faces on the Mexicans standing outside of the building. There is a lot of PTSD there from that quake. The
incident I wrote of happened a couple of years after the BIG ONE.
I have been in the Marina District of San Francisco California and had the same feeling during a quake. It also is built on fill. Very odd sensation.
Thanks for the current info.

I'd take an earthquake any day over a tornado...Was in So Cal for the San Fernando, Loma Prieta and Whittier quakes. Grandma was living in San
Fernando at the time...Her whole fireplace separated from the wall and collapsed with her right next to it...she was fine but it did a number on her
pool! Our pool in Downey over 65 miles from there looked like there was a tsunami in it as it lost over 2 feet of water going back and forth...crazy
stuff!

I might be wrong, but it looks to me on the map that todays quakes are more North between Tijuana and San Felipe. Click on Map near the eq
description on the above linlk.

Have you seen any more venting on the point?
It sounds like giant rocks banging together, or maybe the plates releasing. It must be right under you and it sounds like it is localized.

Stay safe amiga, don't forget the paper work!
I'll bet this is the first earthquake report ever from a reporter on the can. You are amazing amiga!!

I agree that those quakes aren't the ones we feel here as we are at 27 degrees North X 114 west....the lat-longs given are up by TJ and offshore. I
just don't think their equipment registers here.

Karyn,
I have been following the reports and Shari is reporting many more significant quakes than are being registered on these sites.
From what she has said before these are very localized phenomenon.
From her previous posts it would appear that the point where their house is in Asuncion is right on top of the epicenter.
Iflyfish
Shari, just stop using the crapper and maybe this will stop. Maybe a big monster in there who doesn't like it one bit that you are sacrificing in the
way you are. Have you tried throwing any virgins down that hole? Used to help in the old days.
Glad I could help.

how that energy comes up through your feet and goes straight to your heart and rattles around your solar plexus....heart chakra area creating a

I cannot imagine what you are going through, although I went through Mt. St. Helens .....well kinda....on the night of the 17th I counted 37
earthshakes with the hanging light swinging as if we were at sea....I finally called the airport at 4 am and was able to catch a flight out back home
at 6:15 am...so I threw everything in my bags and left town....she blew a couple of hours after I left....no way jose was I going to be in the middle
of a city with a volcano going off. My husband thought I was nuts and stayed on finishing up the business we were working on.... but I left as I knew
it was not a good sign of things to come. I pray that nothing catastrophic occurs and this passes.....I feel for you....and I noticed you went from
wine to tequilla so it must be pretty hard for you. Stay safe.....
