Well Charger fans,
i did expect the Chargers to make it to the playoffs this year. Especially with all those close losses last year. I mean we played most of the
best teams and lost by less than three points to most of them. We also caught them or better said they caught us coming of their by-week. I think
like six games were against teams that made the play-offs and or were division apponents and they were coming off by-weeks.
This year however it was a little softer schedule. Still we play some pretty good teams. Put any AFC West team in the NFC or even any other
AFC division and they probobly make the play-offs most years. I mean the Chiefs did not make it last year at 10-6 and the Chargers were 9-7 out of
the play-offs. The NFC will more than likely have a 8-8 team make the play-offs this year.
Unlike some of you I do not want to see a Saints vs Chargers Super Bowl. I want to see the Cowboys in their. You know Parcels vs Marty, T.O vs
McCardel and Gates, Romo vs Rivers, Team America vs Team Chargers..
Chicago well I think they are a little overrated and are on the berge of a spanking. Don't believe me ask the Saints about the Redskins.
Philip River? No Ahh, just hand it off Baby and your time will come. There is just to much depth on this team for one guy to blow it. River
will be a great quarterback in the NFL. Wait till next year for this guy.. For now we may get lucky enough with the depth on the team and the team
unity to make it to the Super. Either way it has already been a great year. I thought they would go 10 - 6 but their commitment to win is
relentless.
Come on Raven in the Championship, that would be my super Bowl....
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CHARGERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
Ahh Baja.... Where you can hear yourself think & commingling with the locals will humble you.

Toneart,
In my case I am always looking to learn something new or to stand corrected. It takes a wise person to allow instruction. I can't spell worth a
darn but I try. Keep the lectures coming, hehehehehehe

One other thing regarding the Chargers:
Earlier this season, I was in San Diego (Encinitas), where my brother lives.
We gave his wife fair warning that we wanted to watch the football game. She reluctantly went shopping, but before she left, she gave my brother a
rather detailed Honeydo list.
My brother and I had a bet on; the loser does the chores on the list while the other pops a beer and points.
Of all the ignoble means of humiliation I've ever had to suffer, I watched the Chargers trounce my 49ers. To add insult to injury, when his wife came
home and saw me doing the work and my brother pounding beer and laughing, she was not pleased.
I know....you guys aren't done with me here. I'll probably have to endure the Charger fans piling on and running up the score.
God! It isn't easy being a man.

Drew and Brittney Brees are friends of mine. I know them because I built a nice swimming pool for them. It is unfortunate that they cannot be part
of the Chargers success this season, they loved their life in San Diego and still maintain a home there. They are both very nice and humble people.
Drew insists on calling me "Sir." But it appears to be a "win-win" situation for the Chargers and the Saints. Drew is again having one of those pro
bowl seasons. I hope to see one of those teams in the Super Bowl.....maybe in person!

Oxxo,
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Drew, in fact I was exicted whe we picked him in the 2nd round after LT..
Reason I would not want to see him in the Super Bowl against San Diego is I do not feel any type of rivalry towards him. The worst tthing to
see is your team getting beat by someone you like. It's like when you follow two young boxers and root for both and sooner or later they meet, then
you don't know who to cheer for. It happend to me with Oscar De La Hoya and Fernando Vargas...
If Chargers don't make I would definately support Brees... I still wonder why he did not take the money he was offered in SD... ??
When is enough, enough as far as paying these guys. I think if you developed good business skills you can always make more millions that way..
Oh well...
Ahh Baja.... Where you can hear yourself think & commingling with the locals will humble you.

SoCalAl... I was very happy for Drew when he decided to take the QB job in New Orleans. How exciting, finally, for something like this to happen in
that devestated area. What a plus for those fans to have Drew at the helm. My wife and I have been rooting for him all season. But, I still would
like to see a game between the Chargers and the Saints. I think I would be happy with whoever won in the end.

I agree with you! Would rather have the Bolts play the Saints. Bree's and River's....may the best man (team) win. Cannot wait.

The way it was reported to me is that there were some other contingencies that were not acceptable. The Chargers felt that the injury to his shoulder
might be the end of his career and they wanted to add a lot of conditions. Sadly for the Chargers, that has proven not to be the case. The thing
that strikes me about Drew Brees is that he is not a big guy. He is about my size, 6 ft and around 210. He definitely does not physically stand out
in a crowd. Fortunately he has been blessed with a pretty good offensive line during his career. He is not the fastest quarterback afoot but he is
quite agile because he is not real big.
Here's a little insider information....this did NOT come from Drew Brees. The L.A. Colosium Commission has talked to the Saints about moving the
franchise to L.A. in a new stadium yet to be built. Evidently, the L.A. people are salivating about the prospect of bringing Brees, who is popular in
SoCal, and Reggie Bush back to L.A. They feel the stadium would be sold out in advance for the next 10 years or more. Of course the Saints ownership
is playing it coy. We shall see.

Great Christmas Present to all Charger fans... beating SeaHawks. Now we are 13-2! Most wins in one season for the Chargers and first time Coach Marty
gets 9 wins in a row! I was getting worried in the 4th quarter, but Phillip Rivers made it work!

Bears are 13 and 3 and the Chargers are 14 and 2, with the best record in the NFL. Now we'll see what happens with the playoffs ahead. The Chargers
can rest for two weeks. Wow, what a season.

Thought I was strictly a Charger fan until we watched the Fiesta Bowl last night----Oklahoma vs. Boise State. We were just going to watch a little to
see how well Boise could hold up against Oklahoma.
What a game----one of the most exciting and crazy endings we have ever seen in any football game.
Hope the Chargers heal all their wounds well over the next couple of weeks---GO CHARGERS.

You are a much nicer person than I am! The best team, the one Marty calls the most complete team, and only one team played like a winner, and it
wasn't the Chargers.
Oh, well Go Saints.

Chargers were in the lead most of the game and only a mistake by the Charger allowed the Pats to get ahead... They were very well matched. If the
mistakes were not made, the Chargers would have won.
It is a game, nothing to get angry about... How many other 14-2 teams in the NFL regular season this year were there?
Next year!
