Unfortunately, the drugs really aren't the problem, it's the people using them and there seems to be way too many people with really big problems involved with drugs. These same people would be a problem for themselves and society with or without drugs, so getting rid of the drugs is only putting a band aid on a much bigger problem. It will take something extreme like this to push forward any change. That's just the way it has always been and that's just the way it will always be and it is unfortunate some really good people are lost in the process.
