Snow in San Diego?
Here in Imperial Beach, my neighbor was up at 5:30 a.m. and swears that mixed in with a drizzle there were snow flakes.
Only got sprinkles from this storm, but it sure is cold.

To all my Nomad Amigos.
Here i set in the Great Sate of Texas Panhandle-Not Snowed in but Iced In !!
We are cover with about an Inch of Ice, Sleet, and Ice Pellets. Roads are Closed, unable to get to town{Still have enough mixings for a Two Eyed
Tequilla after going out to Feed the Horses.
As I walk along on the Ice, I think of all those Beautifull Beaches in Baja Sur.
But Alas! I am on another Adventure in my Short Life of 75 Years!! Helping my Beautufull Wife to realize her Dream of becoming a Texas Cowgirl, rasing
a Cremello Mare, her Boy Rocky, Two Dogs, two Kittie Cats.
I do miss Loreto and its People, The Sea of Cortez and it's Fish, The Sunrises and Sunsets all fixed in my Mind and Heart. So all you Baja
Adventurers-- Go! Go! Go!
Never, Never stop Dreaming!

Don Jorge
Those are some very unhappy looking strawberry plants.
We don't expect to get the freeze at the beach----we had to cover a few plants, but no big deal---not like a lost crop.

Hey Skeet--just passed through the Panhandle last week--never seen that area before--very beautiful!! We're heading to Palo Duro for camping in the
spring. Do you drive to Baja or fly?
Ft. Worth is icing up but still driveable...electricity is blinking off occasionally though so some lines west of town are probably affected...

of the Sierra San Pedro Martir from the Valle Chico in Feb, 2001. We were on our way from El Camote's in the Eldorado Ranch in San Felipe to Matomi
Canyon.

Paper says coldest here in Yuma in 35 years. If I had a big freezer I'd stock up on OJ now. Wonder how Florida citrus is doing?
All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

They're saying that orange juice [ trying to avoid the initials ] will probably fall in price as much of the damaged crop can still be used for
juice.

Doesn't El Dorado get snow quite often?

Which El Dorado?
The development near San Felipe... No, not at sea level to 2,000' anyway... That's low desert... Or I should say it would be very rare... like snow in
San Diego... maybe once in a lifetime (Nov. 1967 was the last time, I recall).
However, I have seen snow in the lower mountains just west of San Felipe... and as Amo's photo from President's Day in 2001 shows, in the Sierra San
Pedro Martir, every winter.
