Marie-Rose...I was awake when it started at 3:00am...it is now 1:30 pm and still misting with rain off and on. Todos Santos is a muddy mess. 2-3" deep in town behind Shut Franks...Friends may be stuck in San Lucas...Don't see many coming in from south...No one seems to know about the arroyos to the south. Heard in Franks, gonna be this way for 3-4 days...:(:(:(

Marie-Rose - you'll recognize the place when you get here. It's like BC, but a little warmer (but only a little!). It's a steady rain in TS and Pescadero - intermittent in Cabo San Jose. And the town is a muddy mess. The teenagers here are enjoying putting their candy red Lobos into 4 wheel slides.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Sunday!

It is as dark and dreary as I have ever seen it here in San Jose this time of year.
Think that I will start a fire in my kiva and call it a day.

No one mentioned the black out last night. Pescadero, Todos and La Paz. Not for long though. Hydroplaning tonight between Pescadero and Todos.

Suppose to be gone by Sunday. Sure beats 30's in L.A. and snow in Colorado.

In the high desert country they called heavy rains "waterspouts". The water would gather up rocks ect. and come ripping down thru the coulees, had the consistency of wet cement. Would tear the heck out of everything in its path, even kill fish in the rivers. :(

Blue skies and Sun in Elias Calles. Imagine the same in Pescadero and Todos.
