I bet they could get a good deal on blow-darts up at La Buf.

If I were a TJ cop, I wouldn't go into those mean streets without, at least, a box of water baloons. It would just be too dangerous.

I suppose if you were really fast and accurate with one you could shoot some one in the eye. Naw..

So why do I not feel sorry for them?

I could live quite comfortably in the desert around here with just my slingshot -- and so could any Mexican ranchero. Ranch kids can shoot the eye of a dove, kill rabbits and iquanas. Some of those cops could put your lights out with a tiradore -- that's all the armament I carried to the Baja on vacation trips starting in 1969. I use ball bearings or marbles. I have killed dinner rabbits here, the Gigantes, the Lagunas. It IS a weapon.

A law enforcement weapon I'm not so sure about..

It is, however, my frontline weapon in the war on the pinipeds. $10 at the dollar nets 1000 marble shots:biggrin:

Good point, SP. I agree that this is their strategy.

i don't know if this has been said previously.

my buddy Alberto lives in TJ and when i asked him how the mean streets are handling the loss of the police he said most folks are happy. he also said the feds had called all of the TJ cops by phone to record their voices so as to use the recordings as evidence in a few kidnapping/ransom cases.

i guess it's spring cleaning!!!:!:

I agree with Alberto, it's been 20 days without armed cops and there seems to be a sense of peace here. Don't know how to explain it but there is much tranquility.
