What a great report!!! I am ready to get sick in Santa Rosalia!!!
Is it just me or does Dr. Moises and BAJACAT seem related?

I agree - a great report, that was for me especially interesting, as I'm a Staff Nurse.
Just hope Jorge recovers fast. I like to read his Blog.
And looking at Dr. Moises T-shirt, I'm also thinking "BajaCat?"
BTW - I like that T-Shirt, will have to search for it!>f<

I have had, on occasion, been treated at the local clinica in Punta Abreojos. Always professional and courteous. Always caring and compassionate.
If the "Meek Shall Inherit the World" it will surely go to the Baja Mexicanos.
Thank you very much for the report on Santa Rosalia Hospital.

Baja pharmacies
On a trip south a friend wanted to stop and get something for his "airline"-source sore throat. He speaks pretty good Spanish. The young girl behind
the counter did some looking around and was all set to sell him a box of oral antibiotics. I took a look and saw that the med was a common antibiotic
for bacterial infections. I looked at my friend and told him he doesn't want OR need this. He was absolutely clueless abt medications, etc and said
that is what the girl said to use. She was adamant that this drug is what he should have. I convinced him that this antibiotic was NOT a good
replacement for sore throat lozenges.
Jorge here was given the WRONG meds at the farmacia and as he said, it could've killed him! His Baja dr was furious that the wrong meds were given to
him.
Misuse of antibiotics can bring rise to antibiotic-resistant strains of BAD BUGS. I would be careful abt popping in to a farmacia without real
knowledge as to exactly WHAT and WHY you are getting something. JMO, BB (who does not carry a PDR when traveling south)
