Poor Man's Whiskey

This is our new theme song, and it's ok if any of you want to tag is as yours as well. Check out

www.myspace.com/pmwmusic

then click on "Mexico" on the right hand side of the screen.

You can also check out www.poormanswhiskey.com and click on the 'Music' link on the right side of the screen.

Dern has another favorite titled "PMS". I have no clue why, but some of you might like it as well.

"Beer Goggle Blues" is a curious song in that it has a drinking salute that I learned in 1984 on the beach in Todos Santos... curious that is it coming back to haunt me after all these years.

Enjoy!

P y D

Hey Paulina,
I like the song, good tune.
How are you and Dern? Jeez, haven't seen the two of you in a long time.
I am heading south before too long, and damn ready to go. I've had enough of Mammoth's snow....and it's been an easy winter. Snowing right now. Got the Baja Blues....need sunshine.
Where are you situated these days?

Suzanne,
Thanks for the reply, and glad someone else has our same ear for music! Dern and I are hanging tough in Los Osos, counting down the days till the next trip south. Unfortunately I'm stuck to the school calendar and Dern's not!!! Arg....

We (Cody and I, and Dern too ) are hoping to skip out of summer school and hit Bahia for the first 10 days of summer and hang with MA and Deb before sending Cody off to Texas to be with BajaNana for the remainder of the summer.

How are Pete and the kids?

We miss the sunshine too, fog is trying to be our best friend, but not doing a very good job at it.

Saludos!

I'll be heading down that way also, sounds like a bit earlier than you. In June I'll be camping in Zion. In July I'll be in Yosemite for awhile, at least 2 weeks. I used to be stuck to the school calendar, thankfully that finally ended.

Where is Los Osos? Summer school sucks. Take that kid south for a real education! Didn't know Nana was in TX. That's a real shame, not even in the states.....you know, it's the Republic of Texas....Probably get shot for that smart alec remark.

Pete is working, but likes the company he works for (finally). Kids are growing...Josh is 23 now and a supervisor for Mammoth Mountain. Jed is working for Merriyl Lnych (I know I butchered that spelling), likes his job and income. Alicia just had a baby, so I'm a grandma now. I told her she can train the baby to call me "The GRAND Moma." Funny, I feel just 23 myself and yet all these kids are aging around me.

We had a couple chamber of commerce days here, but the snow chased them away today. I'm soooo ready for a Sea of Cortez swim, an ice cold beer, and some good fire roasted chilies.

What is the first 10 days of summer? You can u2u if you want.
