Looking for Butch-Mulege

I am trying to get ahold of Butch to see if he has heard from a mutual friend of ours (Big Jim) He lives at Cuesta Real. I have emailed Ken and Chris (owners) but have heard nothing back from them. He hangs out at Sophies on the hwy to Santispac and once in awhile at Jungle Jims. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Bruce, I don't know if you have seen this but you may know him. He is a rather large man and drives a black (I think) jeep.

Hi RichnLinda,

I know Butch well. I'll be driving into Mulege around 4 or 5 and will look for him at Sophie's or the Jungle to pass on your message and will post any reply here.

Butch is a very easy person to find.....

RichnLinda...

This is what I learned: First, Butch has been gone north for about a month, as he is ill and undergoing some treatment in USA. Second, 'Big Jim' has not been around his 'spot' in Cuesta Real since June-July of 2005 and is presumed to be back in Alaska. End of report...sorry, not much help.

hey Mike...have compadre coming on April 22nd, so will be here through May-June sometime, depending on fishing and Pacifico stocks in town. Come out and have a cold one.

Great progress Bob !!! Looks wonderful !

The roofs look like concrete. How are they formed and poured ??
Or is it a coating over something else ?
Will they coat it or cover it with something else ?

you will get one for sure. i tried to on the march clinic trip but we were late getting back from lopez and with light diminishing i did n't think it would look good, sun setting behind the hills west of town and all.

when i get down and if you're still there we;ll just go for a hop together and you can purvey all that is yours from on high.
you'll just have to re-addle my brain when we return!

hey diver...

"The roofs look like concrete."
they are...lots of rebar

"How are they formed and poured ??"
they are formed with wood and poured one bucket at a time...
then they take the forms down

"is it a coating over something else ?"
the roofs will be covered with 90 pound felt then burned red tile...the real stuff

i liked the picture because of the dog...:tumble:

"Will they coat it or cover it with something else ?"
