Conception Bay Weather Report: COOL mornings.
brrr...I just went outside to check the thermometer....63...a mite chilly for shorts today. Plus there are 2 cruise ships anchored
near Sta. Barbera for the last couple days....too bad the weather has not treated them better...first too windy and now a cold morning. Oh, well,
call room service and snuggle in your stateroom.
Good news is that it will be 80 again by this afternoon.
Wasn't there some recent sci-fi flic about global warming? Al something or other?
Seems that the whole continent is under unusually cold and weird weather conditions again. Central US took a hit yesteday and today it's the NE. Was
6 degrees a week ago in Fargo, ND...brr. What's it doing in your neighborhood?

60 on my porch but that is normal for here.
High's in the low 80's. Pretty nice, I think
We had some really strong winds here yesterday and the day before.

78 in Paris under sunny skies, finally, though the low last night was 51. 51 would have been considered a warm day until two weeks ago.
No fishing, though.

There was something in the air yesterday at Rancho La Aguja (due west of la Paz on PAcific) that said "winter's done". That NW beeze was still
blowing, but warmer - the birds are going nuts and stealing pieces of the palapa.
This is contradicted by my weather station which says that so far, April 2007 has been almost 7F cooler on average than 2006.
What was different last weekend/early week was the very large surf - even for this open Pacific beach.

Rancho La Aguja
Thanks for the Pacific report, rob. There was something in the air here in Conception Bay yesterday, too. Was not fog, and was not dirt....most
probably a result of the strong winds in LA...smog maybe?
The outside peninsula was barely visible all day. A very hazy day.
p.s. Water Temp...Debra, I just stuck my thermometer toe in the water out front here in Coyote Bay..pretty warm... 78 degrees surface.

Same thing "in the air" here in TS, today and yesterday... can barely make out the mountains behind them there hills!!
Remember, when in Mexico, yes may be no and no may be
maybe!

Yesterday morning we couldn't see Carmen at all from Loreto, or the mountains to the west. It was windy, but the haze didn't look like dust, and
didn't feel like fog. Today the wind and water are much calmer, and tomorrow should be a nice day on the water.

Weather is always a great subject. It's a common conversation topic of folks over the world. Hi Vince...hope your cold spell has passed.
You are right, that is one the NOLS Drascombes...great coastal cruising boats. Very adaptable to sea conditions, one can sail, row, or motor. The
school has quite a fleet of them for their trips.
Weather here in Coyote Bay at this moment is sunny & clear, zero breeze with calm seas, water temp about 78, air temp a balmy 85. Pre-dawn
mornings are still nice and cool in the 60's. All in all, a very April so far.
