Presidential Visit to Loreto
From what I've been able to read, and my spanish isn't the best, it seems that FONATUR signed over the Loreto water system to the city of Loreto
durring the visit to Puerto Escondido by the President. So Mr. Grogan dosen't "own" Loretos water anymore? Hope that is the case.

where are ya lookin' sudcaliforniano? I'll check there as I haven't read it yet. but without even reading it they can say whetever appeases the

Yes Pam thats the one. Trump is pluging his condo development in Rosarito, being built next to the sewage outflow for part of Tijuana. For
referance to my first posting... during an interview with Ted Donavon on Baja Talk Radio April 11 2006 segment 3. Mr. Grogan states regarding 19
wells in the San Juan valley,"We have the rights to all that water"

Here's a quick translation of what Phil is refereing to from the article that has Donald Trump's photo at the bottom but makes no mention as to
why....
"Al fungir como testigo de honor en la firma del convenio en el cual FONATUR hace entrega al gobierno municipal de la planta de tratamiento y el

Presidential Visit
As a future (and current part time) resident of Loreto, I am encouraged that President Calderon was here in Loreto yesterday.
Two prominent residents I know (my architect and my realtor) were both at the meeting, and told me that the development and water issues facing Loreto
were the primary subject of discussion. They don't want Loreto to go the way of Los Cabos, either.
I love this little town. I'm going to keep a positive attitude, and have faith that our Harvard educated Sr. Presidente is going to keep Fonatur in
check, and by default, the dreaded Loreto Bay.

Well I would be a lot more impressed if he actualy came to Loreto. He arrived at the airport then was whisked to Puerto Escondido where he innugrated
the Mar de Cortez project because PE is the head port for this project then he was whisked right back to the airport and flew over town. He did not
visit town like he was suppoed to maybe the open sewage running down the street scared him away from the reality that the real people face here. A
realtor and an architect told you this, dont you think that they benefit greatly from attending a meeting such as this?  The real citizens that I speak to about this are a bit upset and disappointed, same
as Fox but I at least can give him credit for actually getting off the plane.
