hey!! those workers look like ants down there!!??

went to visit playa frambes while down the past 2 semanas...........man, what a spot and the progress is amazing for the so far short build time, IMHO.

tell you what........

they paved the streets of mulege last 2 days.
a mex big wig in with his turbine twin thurs wants the El Galilto strip paved soon and has the clout to do it.
and, DJ is about to get a push on his fuel license due to a certain so and so.

and its all about the new malecon plans for the town as well as the future of santispac and the bay.

once the power runs south, and its coming now sooner than later, Playa Frambes becomes Playa del Oro!!
good show Bob y Susan.

Wow, look at the progress! I need to keep up on this project. My wife and I are thinking of coming down your way in October.

Your progress looks great Bob !!

Are they 5, single units ?
What is the taller building to the right rear ?
Is there living space in the garage as well ?
How many units available at build-out ?

.

Why is the property to the right have such white soil? Did they add sand, or did you add dark soil? I remember you saying that you are building up the soil in order to elevate it for some kind of flooding reasons. Could a person add sand to the beach to cover up the rocks? Is this doable, or would the tides and waves just wash it away? Are you going to add tiles to those cement roofs? If so, why did you put cement up on the roof? The place looks like it is going to be really nice when it's finished. I look forward to every update on the progress. I guess I'm living vicariously through you guys in your blog. You're living my dream. Good luck.

hey thanks...

that white stuff is soil form a nearby quarry...

the guy next door wants to sell his lots and cleaned the place up a little with a 3" layer of soil
that stuff is like concrete later

the "real" soil is like a clay

we'll get some sand delivered to cover the beach in front of the casitas...later

the roof tiles are red and burned black and have been ordered from Mexicali...
Sr. Mayoral from Mulege is picking them up in Mexcali and hauling them down...
I talked to him yesterday

we will have 3 two bedroom units for rent...
we'll live in the fourth

the fifth place is our kitchen
remember susan DOES NOT cook!!!

the big tall "thing" is a replica lighthouse...
you'll be able to stay there too...
bottom floor is a bathroom
second floor a small bed
third floor a sitting room
then ... the top!!!:saint::saint:

Bob. What will be the protection for the swimming pool of the "moving sand" that occurs there some of the time on a Northerly.?? Great project. I think I will want to stay in the lighthouse. Probably will be very popular with your 'younger' travelers. Definitely will be "finding" your project on our way south in October. HOpefully your highway sign will be "UP" by then.

no hurry for a sign...
lots of traffic without one for now...

the swimmimg pool is only protected by the casitas on both sides
sand is just a part of life when living on-the-beach or
in the garage:lol:

NO ONE swims i the winter...too cold
