Wireless Internet

We were just informed that our condo will be set up for wireless internet service. I'm not sure how this works. Who would be our ISP? Would it be cable-fast or slow as dialup?? Would neighbors in the condo building be able to access our computer if they have it, too? We were also told it will be wired for Telnor telephone. Is this the best route to go if we only plan to be there part-time? Or how does that VOIP thing work? Sorry, I'm a novice at this stuff and really appreciate your input....

You can probably get more help if you let us know where the condo is.

Kinda hard to describe what is needed without that information.

The condo is Mar Y Sol in Rosarito Beach. I talk on the phone a lot, but would mostly be making calls to the U.S. We currently have Verizon cell phone, but I heard that's not good in Rosarito. Also use internet a lot. If paying bills by computer, wouldn't that be safe if the little lock thingie is "on"???
