Happy Cinco, Nomads!

Gee not much Nomad hoopla for a holiday that Gringos celebrate with all the media and (liguor)product and capitalism they can muster, up in the US. It cracks me up that so many Americans think Mexicans are celebrating wholeheartedly south of the border.
Hello!
Seriously, are the Nomads so wise as to understand this "almost" fabricated holiday or is it something else? Perhaps bar-hopping and shooting tequila with lime is a thang of the past, or, maybe we are past all that and the young and frivolous still partake. I wouldn't know about you folks south of us but up here it amounts to nada.:lol

I like to celebrate every day I can be in Baja, not everyday in Baja;D

If someone hears a firecracker today in Baja please report back here..

Cinco in Denver

Having lived in Denver until my move to Baja last fall, CINCO is big and fun in Colorado. Ironically, immigration tough guy, US Rep Tom Tancredo, is a featured speaker there today!

Cinco Marketing to Gringos

SB, but the overall theme of Cinco is a marketing scam.

I'm doing my part for cross-cultural education by interviewing the Ensenada locals for a variety of support services I am needing in my new environment...
