Book Signing #5 was the best, yet!!! Photos (Part 1 of 3)
There are already a couple other threads on the event, but I did take a lot of photos that will help you visualize what those of us who attended
experienced... which was great weather, great people and just a plain great event!
Of interest, we used the new BLVD. 2000 highway that avoids downtown Tijuana and goes between Otay and Fox Baja Studios (Popotla) both directions...
and we may never see downtown Tijuana again! That report with photos, milages, times, will be on a seperate post in the Roads Forum here on Nomad...
The border wait at Otay today (Sunday) at noonish, was 2 hrs. 15 min.!!
Okay, on to the Pyramid Resort Book Signing #5:
The author of the Auto Club guide was (for sure) there!

BajaRob and Connie had a deluxe suite nearby that they won at last year's event... they were over just after we arrived to set up Keri's bar and
raffle ticket sales station...

GeoRock and Mary Ann Humfreville (along with Debra) drove up from Bahia de los Angeles for the event. Mary Ann was selling Mike's book, which was
published just before last years' book signing...

Graham Mackintosh took some time off from writing his latest Baja adventure book to attend with his wife Bonni.
Graham is a really fun guy who is not affraid to rough it... as long as there is some beer nearby... or if not, it gets dropped to him by airplane, as
it did when he was living on Isla Angel de la Guarda!
