Lots of Nomads at Book Signing Event

There were a whole lot of people at the Pyramid Book Signing event today, many-many Nomads included. I met a whole bunch of them today, some I already knew and many I had never met before. It was great. The weather was fantastic and everyone was having such a good time. Everywhere I looked people had big smiles on their faces. Didn't stick around for the pot luck, but would like to know how that went and how the tequila tasting went. David K was taking lots of photos so I'm sure he will be sharing many images taken throughout the day.
Keri does a fantastic job of hosting this annual event. My hat is off to her!

Bob, it was a pleasure to meet you. We opted for dinner at the Half Way House. As you say, it was a great day and kudos to Keri.

Geez, what hapened to not flaming other Nomads that you don't even know. It is very iteresting that during a long and pleasant conversation with Bernie yesterday, we each confided that we were very reluctant to post negative comments on this forum. Obviously there are some that thrive on negativity. Too bad. Get a life!!

Keri is fantastic. It was great to meet Nomads i did'nt know and to see the ones I know again. I now know the 2 felines, elgatoloco y bajacat ;D
We all had a lot of fun, the kids played a lot, the food was great, Mrs FDT loved the chocolate fountain from Antonio and Lorenia.
The tequila tasting was fun even if my tequila (4Vientos) was voted worst :(

Yes, it is always nice to meet new Nomads and then you can put a face and a real personality together! Looking forward to seeing some of David K's photos.

Hey, for those who did not make it... at one point they bar ran out of booze! Can you imagine that? But, Keri swung into action and they were back to normal in a jiffy!

At least with the second worse tequila, I was in good company! (Cien Años Blanco)

Favorite quote of the day "he was one taco short of an enchilada)" (and that was before Ferna started drinking Tequila!...I can't remember the "he" in question)

You will have to wait for Georock to arrive in Bahia to post the results, but a good time was had by all. Doug - Baja Nomad, took lots of pictures. Here is one before it got crazy. Note there were 12 Tequilas in play...

Thanks, Keri for a great party...as usual!

GREATEST BOOKSIGNING YET!!!

Perfect weather and a great job by Keri!

Really great meeting new Nomads friends and seeing the old ones, too!

Sorry if I didn't get a chance to visit more, but the bar tickets and raffle tickets were selling like crazy!

I want to give special thanks to Baja Angel (Elizabeth) for working so hard and keeping the ball rolling. I get distracted too easily trying to talk to Nomads, taking photos, and then trying to remember names!!! LOL

Bob H came and sat with us and added his happy Nomad face to the table Keri had us stationed at... Thanks Bob... We missed saying goodbye, sorry amigo!

BajaRob and Connie of Bahia Santa Maria helped us and relieved us in the later part of the day so Elizabeth and I could walk around to event and visit and take photos. Rob and Connie sold many bar tickets, the bar temporarily went dry!... Great Job!!!

FishBuck, BajaFun777, BajaCat, bajabound2005, Bajaguy, Bajaeng (engineer) are some of the new Nomads I met. Graham, elgatoloco, Bob H, Dave, GeoRock, Ferna de Tijuana, BajaCactus, are just a few of the Nomad amigos I already knew who were there.

I have MANY photos... I will post in another thread to keep this one open for comments of the people who were there or who would like to comment on the event.

Good job Keri!!! (Here's one photo of Keri and her daughter 'Allie')

Nice photos Doug... Ryland has a young fan in Ferna's daughter... Neat photos at sunset!

That chocolate fountain that BajaCactus brought was sure cool!
