BajaCactus given the "Outstanding Host 2007" award.

Hello my friends,

I would like to share with you all, our happiness and joy for the award the BajaCactus Motel was given today.

Earlier today, the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, along with the Health Department and the Consumer Protection Bureau (Profeco), presented us with the "Outstanding Host 2007" award.

The award was the result of a series of evaluations that the Secretary of Tourism did during the last few months... and, to our surprise, they decided to honor us with this distinction.

My friends, part of this award goes to you, because with your honest and friendly suggestions, you have helped us to better ourself.

Thank you so much for your preference and friendship.

Your friend,

Antonio M.

Man, do you deserve it!

Now, to get the word out to other businesses in Baja that fairness and honesty and value will reap rewards.

And Antonio is a most excellent example of that...............

With our best wishes

Antonio, and family -

You wrote that you were surprised by being honored by this award.

To your fellow Nomads, and many others as well, it comes as no surprise that this honor has been bestowed on you. The sincerity and integrity you and your staff display are most welcome. These days, both north and south of the border, mediocrity has become the norm - but certainly not in El Rosario at Baja Cactus - where Baja IS so much more than a dream!

Please accept our congratulations and pass this to your co-workers and staff.

With kind regards, John and Barbara Marnell

How proud you father looks holding the award... You are a wonderful son, Antonio... I have an advantage to being your friend and know the history of the Motel El Rosario being turned into the Baja Cactus Motel thanks entirely to YOU and your hard, tireless work.

I don't know anybody who is so dedicated to his family and his business that neither suffer and both actually prosper... at the same time. You should write a book (if you ever get any free time)!

I have been a big advocate of your motel, as most Nomads know. Not that it is a great value... which it is, but because of YOU. There are other nice motels in Baja, but there is only ONE Baja Cactus Motel operated by the Antonio Muñoz family.

It is extremely refreshing to have a business that the traveler can trust 100% and receive the help, assistance, friendliness that the Baja Cactus cliental receives.

Congratulations my friend, Baja Cactus Antonio... you really deserved it!!!

To Antonio and family - congratulations from the bottom of my heart! You are a prime example of an honest, successful businessman! You deserve every bit of this award, and probably much more. The way you handle yourself and they way you interact with so many different people from all over the world are to be commended.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful news.
