ha ha ha... you guys crack me up!!! Dennis, I started this thread saying "TJ Beer is here"... with photos of my truck in my garage and me in front of
my Oceanside home holding cases of the stuff...
Hook, I understand the humor... and I wasn't trying to be anti-humorous with my reply... Bud has frogs, Tecate has girls, Tijuana has taste (and a
funny sign in the men's room at their brewery tavern where that photo was taken).
Many of you like beer with a strong flavor... I like a smooth flavor, but can appreciate a strong beer on occaision. My favorite beers are Dos Equis
Special Lager, Pacifico, and many others including Tecate in Baja, not the import, Modelo, Superior, and Mexicali... Of non Mexican beers, I will
drink when nothing else is available: Miller MGD, Foster's, Asahi, Coors Lite, Bud Lite. I won't drink Bud, ever....
Tijuana Guera and Morena are specialty beers to me because I toured the brewery, met the Czech brewmaster and other brewery personal and we had a
great time in the tavern there. The TJ beer does taste better (to me) from the taps at the brewery than from the bottles (true of any beer I am
sure)... I still think it is a premium brew and do enjoy drinking it... In fact, the first case is almost gone... I have been sharing it, however!

DAVID K....
Try drinking the Cerveza Tijuana out of a cold glass. I think you'll find that it makes a world of difference.
If you don't do it already, keep a few glasses in the freezer...ready to go You'll enjoy your beer more!

David, this beer looks and sounds like I need to try it.
Hey, the photo of your truck... with all the Baja stickers... you gotta get rid of that "Carlsbad" license plate frame. That cracked me up!

PS: U2U me your address and when I'm in the area I give you a call and stop by sometime.
The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.

It's where I got the truck Bob... I am thinking of making one that says: "CAUTION: Driver has Baja Fever!"
Bob, the open invite applies to you, too... I am 30 minutes from your house.

Yeah ... That's right. And when you find your crystal frozen to the floor of the freezer, do what you should have done to begin with. Drink it out
of the bottle like Pacifico.
Right, Terry?

I got it at Costco in Vista... Hwy. 78 to Emerald, south to Hacienda then east... It is along the freeway. The tjbeer.com web site lists the places it
is sold or served...

Caguama Beer
I've had many a "caguama" (liter bottle) of TKT, Superior, XX, etc. and a few "ballenas" (same thing) of Pacifico. But this is the first time I've
had a beer named Caguama in a 12 oz. bottle. It was the cheapest import at Fry's today, $9.99/12pk, so I tried it. It's from El Salvador and is ni
muy muy ni tan tan, not terrible but nothing very distinctive about it either. Tastes light & bland, pretty much the same as an American
Budmillitz. Probably ok if served very cold on a hot day.
All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

There is a beer made in Costa Rica that is very poor as well, marketed to look and sell like a Mexican beer... It may have even been called 'Cabo'!?
