Actually, I think most people these days go to Baja their first time because someone they know has been down and told them how wonderful it is. Except for Cabo which is fed by travel agents and toursit brochures, as well. I have met so many people who heard great things about Baja and had to come check it out for themselves.

Why has anyone gone before them ?
Because it's there and all that ..... sunny, warm, beaches, cheaper, cool culture, great exploring, good fishing, surfing, windsurfing and kiting, boating, diving and snorkelling, great food, friendly people and more.

For the coastal camping. To my knowledge, Baja probably has the best coastal camping on the planet.

This sounds about right. To find a secluded beach. To finally be so alone so as to be lonely and truly glad to see people when I get back to a town.
Stars at night. Crystal blue water alive with fish.

I come down to Baja for the absolute remoteness I can find there, the unque flora and fauna, and when I do encounter people, they are generally warm and kind.

My friends and I go down there to ride dirt bikes, drink tequilla and eat killer chow(Did you ever notice how hard it is to enjoy Mexican food in the States after eating Mexican food in Mexico?) and the friendliness of the people the further south you go.

Stress Relief, as soonas I get to where I am going away from T.J. it's like all of the worries just don't matter:yes:. The time slow downs and I can take a breath of the Ocean air and the Sounds of Mexico just keep relieving me of the Stress from the States. Stress Relief is definately the number one reason and all else just falls into place as you experience Baja. Now, I am stressed thinking about why I am not in Baja now being un-stressed:(. Lots more than one reason.
The fishing, love to catch triggers from the shore!
The stars!!!
The friendly people, once we stopped at a pig farm by the side of the road ( amazed to see pigs) and the farmer was so nice and showed us around.
The warm sun and beautiful beaches.
The remoteness of lots of places we go.
The fish tacos and cold Pacificos from a road side stand.
need I say more?
