Nomads going nomadic or in groups?

What are you planning to do... if you want to share?

Baja Angel & I will be camping with TheSquarecircle and his ladyfriend in the Mision Santa Maria valley... Heard that Roverdude and his friends may pop in... TW as well? Cool!

Viva Baja everybody!!

You guys are so lucky you live in Southern CA due to its proximity to the border. I would love to be able to take weekend jaunts there if I could.

The opposite of camping -- Valle Guadalupe for a couple of days of wine tasting and haute Mexican cuisine for our 20th anniversary, sans kids.

Is memorial day weekend this weekend or next?? There is a cool fishing tournament in Turtle Bay Sat. JUne 2 for the "Feria del Mar" which is like a sea festival with lots of fun events and great food, dances etc. Should be a blast. Enjoy your holiday amigos.

I'm stuck stateside, but Dern and his buddy Ezra are down at Rancho Leonaro at the Roy Clark Tournament as I type. They'll be hitting the road heading north on Memorial weekend, with a short side trip to Todos Santos to see some friends there.

Remember just north of Puertecitos about 10 miles to must make a right turn and follow the arroyo west till it meets the ocean. Just being helpful.

The right turn is through a open gate where a old white van is parked. And be sure to give us a trip report.

Tom -or any Nomads- We'll be home so if you come back this way, stop by.

You guys directing BajaCat up Matomi Wash??:?::wow:

He knows the way to Gonzaga, and he will have a great time with his friends and family... He called me this afternoon for some last minute tips. He secretly wishes he was going into 'Mission Impossible' with us!

Gonzaga Bay is just a few miles east of the mission... just a mountain and deep canyon seperates the two!

Anyway... I hope all Nomads have a great weekend! Baja Angel and I will be leaving tomorrow (Friday) afternoon... early afternoon, I hope...

I told Baja Angel that on Saturday, for the tough 14.5 mile road in, she can drive it! Why not, she owned CJ-5 Jeeps for years and is a veteren of the famous Rubicon... much tougher than the Santa Maria road and it's infamous 'Widowmaker' grade! ?
