Bernie, I'm not really qualified to say why or what draws most people to Baja.:( Will give it a try.:) Guess it's all about oceans, beaches, remote areas, friendly people and a combination of all.

I just took my dogs for a beach walk along the beach about 1/4 mile from my house in colonia zaragoza. Even this close to town I didnt see another person and all I could see north or south were pelicans and a panga in the distance. The dogs went for a swim and I tossed rocks in the water. Where can I go that is better than that??

All in the timing (and patience), my friend. Get the best of both worlds. The older the rugrats get the more exploring we'll get to do.
Plus, there are many vacous spaces inside my head alone.

Just jerkin' your chain, compa. But, given the size of your boca, I thought peace might be difficult at times. :P

This is just over the hill from where Woody caught those spotfins. He doesn't think I know where that is but I've sniffed it out.:lol:

I got that burn pursuing corbina in the surf. Should have paid more attention to the sun. It gets windy out there in the afternoon. I like sleeping on the cots in the open.

We had "monkey meat" for dinner, Cypress.
