Unless there is more than one of those in Miramar, I encountered that exciting hole in March. Can't think of the appropriate adjective to describe coming up to it...car coming the other way...and having to stop on that incline...but, I know I said what my grandmother would have said ... "Holy Mary, Mother of God"...and not in a nice way, either!

when i left the end of feb there was simular bridges being build just south of loreto anyone have a pic??

Puente Zarragosa


Arroyo Zarragosa, just south of Loreto. Deck is poured, looks like only weeks away from use. Went in very fast for a public works project — anywhere.

I'm planning to come to Loreto for some fishing in late July or August. What are the chances that the road work will be in somewhat better shape by then -- or could it be worse. It would sure be to nice to have tar or asphalt on top rather than mud, dust, rocks, and sinkholes.:O
