Truth is I feel as close to you as I do Amir, Dennis. Fact is, Amir and I live in Todos Santos -- that make's us neighbors. I know where he lives. I don't know him personally but his posts reveal a whole lot about him. Don't you think? Do you like the way Amir writes? He put's it out there, si? Like you, Dennis. You put it out there too. Cabron!

No, I don't.
His photography website shows a series of Rorschachs that reveal the true Amir as much as his plea for attention here which begs the participation of viewers. While referencing the DocT posts of the past, he all but guided the viewing audience to their seats and gave them a program of links to follow the act.
And, If all this makes anybody sick, they can read his, "Ancient Art Of Self Healing."

There you go, Amir. Shameless plugs for you. I'll take my comission in dollars rather than pesos.

Okey doke, kids... I was trying to avoid posting into this mess, but....

... on another thread a week or two back we discovered that Amir and I shared a mutual friend. When I wrote my girlfriend, I mentioned Amir and asked about how they knew one another. Seems they go way back... something to do with planning or participating in celebrations in Oregon or the like. Girlfriend lives in San Bartolo, knows both Amir and his significant other.

While this does not preclude Amir from having multiple personas... I think it makes it pretty unlikely.

My dos centavos.... put this thread to bed.

If you go back to the Doc Thaddeus/Sackmaster thread you will see that I was the first to suspect that they were one and the same. Dennis concurred. I believe their writing styles were the same and so were their vehemence and vitriol.

Amir and Dennis have locked horns in other posts and were already well into a game pattern. However, I don't believe that Amir is another manifestation of the Doc and the Sackmaster. Amir's posts (outside of this game), while possessing vehemence of their own, have a marked political philosophy which is consistent. He also writes well, with a greater intelligence base than Thaddeus/Sackmaster.

The puppet and The Sockmeister were up to some scam. In the long thread we were getting close to figuring it out. Furthermore, there was not a trace of politics in their rants.
If they were also Amir, his politics would have busted through. You can't hold that stuff back.

So, sorry Dennis. I believe the "Thaddeus" reference by Amir was coincidental. I give Amir my vote of confidence, based on the clues I have gleaned.

Amir.....don't let me down. The one similarity is your vehement defensive posture. With Doc/Sock that became tedious and therefore tiresome, even though it was an interesting mystery.

I looked at Amir's photo website earlier today, and it is lovely. I think that anything negative found there would have to be in the eye of the beholder. I suppose you can call any artist's work a rorshach of his true self. And if this is the case, I can see no connection between Amir, Doc T, and Sackmaster.

Worked side by side with Amir at the anual spay and neuter clinic... not to mention at the "furball" where he was donating his time to sell raffle tickets to benefit the program.
Not only that but his time comitment with the classroom on wheels has not gone un-noticed. He is definely who he says he is... TS's "bone doctor"!!!

I'm a newbie, so maybe I'm typing in the wrong place, or doing something else wrong. If so, please forgive my ignorance of using a forum. :?:

I was going to wait to join this forum after I had officially made the move to Todos Santos to be with my husband, Amir, but I felt the need to do this now. I can attest that he is indeed who he claims to be and that he is not anyone else. He has an uncanny knack of saying things that push buttons without even knowing what the buttons are.

But his intentions are always honorable. He has been living in Todos Santos since last July. I have visited, but have had to spend more time up north fixing our house to sell and now hopefully I've sold it and will join him soon. Perhaps then I can help keep him out of Nomad trouble (but I doubt it). On the phone last night I told him - "They think you are someone else!" after he related the latest posts he was involved in. He said "Really?!?" in his unusual accent (as he truthfully says English is his second language - Spanish being his first - so he somtimes misses or mis-interprets what people are saying - especially if they are being cryptic and myterious). I told him to research old threads to see who Thaddeus was because I could tell he was an upsetting character, especially for Dennis. He did so and was amazed by the coincidence. But he does like to play and was up for some kind of continued banter.

Anyway, I hate to be so verbose in my first posting, but I could not stay silent any longer. Amir is a kind and generous, and, yes, even sometimes psychic and spiritual chiropractor who may express himself passionately in the written word about any number of subjects. I have loved to see this happen for him since he can tend to shyness in person if discussions become intense. I hope that the forum will welcome us as participants and fellow nomads. We love Baja, both norte and sur, and I am proud to be the wife of someone who is on the penninsula to be of service to the communities there. I hope those of your who get to know us will find us to be good folk.

Well I just spent a loooong time reading all the old Thaddeus posts out of curiosity about who some folks thought my husband was. A very sad, interesting and disturbing thread. Don't even know what to say about it except that I sensed there were a number of folks who were very willing to step up and help that unfortunate man if he had only responded. Perhaps he was too tied up in red tape, etc. At any rate it was a tragic story. Glad it was NOT Amir - yikes!:o

A cautionary tale for sure. We are doing our best to be humble, respectful and patient. Quicly learned about manana and aurita (my Spanish is bad - sorry for any bad spelling). Enduring our initiations into Mexican culture with good humor.

Jerry and Judi - I am in Eugene, Oregon and there are some great vinyards close by. Wish I had the time to go wine tasting.:tumble:

And now that you've unraveled the mystery & fabricated intrigue,

You don't know what you're seeing, or saying, do you.

Actually, I DO know what I'm seeing AND what I'm saying! I'm expressing MY thoughts & feelings just like everyone else on here, you included! Last I checked, I do have a right to do that, just as you do! If you take exception to something I said, you'll have to be more specific. If it's all my words say so....if just part of them, feel free to tell me what you take exception with. Your lack of anything specific gives the appearance that you posted these comments merely to slam me....as opposed to having posted them for a viable reason. And for the record, I was talking to Amir. I didn't address you or mention you in my post. If you or anyone else "sees" themselves in one of my posts....so be it! The one sure-fire way to KNOW it's YOU; and only you; I'm referring to beyond a shadow of a doubt is when you read your name!

So, Dennis, I guess nobody new appeared.
There were a few replies from supporters and some votes of confidence. I don't know what your criteria was or when your judgements would cease. I'm still me and I never was anybody else. You can believe whatever you want. I will try to shield your attacks without reacting. I'm really sorry I engaged you; it wears me out and it detracts from my mission. In your own way you pointed some things out to me and I noticed. I have answered all your questions and challenges thoroughly and honestly, albeit perhaps too poetically and metaphorically, and perhaps a little verbose. In some way you feel I threaten you, and I don't know why I was looking for your approval. I will try not to leave such a big footprint on your path. I meant you no harm and I wish you well. --Amir

Nice try Amir. But you're not fooling me a bit.

GNOME_AD AND AMIR ARE THE SAME!!!

That was devilishly clever of you, you rascal. The way you tried to impersonate your wife, but your syntax gave you away.

.... just kidding Amir. This whole thing is just so pathetic, it's actually funny. Poor Thadeus, though. He really deserved better from this board.

To all those who stepped forward and supported me and encouraged me, thank you. I wanted to meet new friends and you are them.

I also thank the Baja Nomad Board for the opportunity it afforded me to get out of my little shell and step unto a very public stage. It was terrifying, and for me, not so anonymous.

To those I offended with my words, I'm sorry.
To those who thought I wrote too many words, tough sh*t.
