Need a cheap Ac'd place to stay in the Cabos area!

Hey there! I don't post very often, but summers' coming up, and the family and I are off to Baja for about 3 weeks, as soon as school gets out(my wife and I are both teachers). I need to find cheap accomodations(with AC) somewhere either in Cabo, or San Jose for about a week in late June. I would prefer San Jose, since I can then make the drive out to the East Cape surf spots easier. Can anyone give me some places to check?
Thanks again!
Steve

"cheap" is hard to find unless you get off the main highway... of more interest to me is ... where do you expect to surf in the East Cape area?????? no surf on that side of Baja... go west to the Pacific and look aroung Todos Santos for your lodging.............

It does not meet your parameters of San Jose or east but in San Lucas try www.mardecortez.com. Most of the rooms are a bit bigger than Siesta and not that much different in price. I am sure someone from SJ or east will chime in also. Suerte....
P.S. There used to be some cabanas in Cabo Pulmo that were very reasonable, but that was a while ago....
