Glad you like the avitar Dennis. Took my awhile to finally get it figured out.
But back to the subject though, it seems I (we) probably need to change our thought process and start thinking on the offensive to better secure what
property we have that we expect to retain for ourselves. In the past I've read several posts where folks have had their complete rigs stolen and I
just never gave too much thought to individual pieces of equipment getting ripped off but I sure will now!
Just do it!

My drums are about to re-enter the scene but I can't talk here about what I do one-handed.
When and where is the Pastrami sammy?

Right on Bro........
I'm a firm believer of the "bigger hammer" theory. I've had to exercise it on Juarez Ave. in the middle of the day.
I think it was viewed in awe by onlookers but, overwhelming self-respect from me.

New rig
Bruce....you need a "drive around rig"....I'm thinking of maybe a 10 year old Suzuki Samauri painted Chartruse green.......hard on the eyes, not too
easy to lose, inexpensive and a 4x4 convertible...........what more could you want in Ensenada....except maybe a hungry Pit Bull in the back seat and
an ice chest full of Pacificos

that's why we have no problems in town!! We almost always have 3 crazy dogs in our vehicle! Gets us through the border and military check points SO
FAR! We may have a cumuppance at some point! Our dogs are very nice and respectful; but.....one never knows! With the dogs, so far, we've always
got a pasale!

Thanks, Lee. You're right but, isn't it a shame for us who have behaved ourselves all our lives to have to change our mind-set from trusting to
suspicious? It's a big switch.
Hey bro....great new wrathe avatar. Don't know why but, it's cool. |
Sad but true and it's served me in life. And, yeah, if I had to take a position, it's a sad commentary around trust vs. suspicious. Don't think
the MX think of it that way, though. So, when in Rome....
There's something cool about a death avatar. I don't know why either.
Just watch your back, Bro. Expect the unexpected. Eyes in back of your head and all that. Spyderco in your pocket.

Alzheimer Moment I Guess
I incorrectly posted to the wrong thread. I had been on the Jet Ski. Talk about embarassment. My only excuse is that I was doing three tasks on the
computer and watching the news on TV.
I am truly Humbled and Contrite.

They steal catalytic converters for the precious metals. Back in the old country,Mpls.St Paul, a year ago, they could get $150 US.,from unscrupulous
recyclers. How many a day could an ambitious two person crew steal?

Back when gas got expensive in La Paz late seventies or
early eighties the local riff raff would not be so kind as to just remove a hose and sifon. They would punch holes in
the bottom of gas tanks and drain the gas .You were left with no gas and looking for a new gas tank or someone who would fix yours.

Hmmm,
Thanks for sharing about your criminal past....seems like your justifications and rationalizing your behaviours should also work for the Baja
thieves....
