Bob and susan-- you are about 14-15 months ahead of my need as I'll be there full-time then but a boat in Mex without a captain is not a wise choice- for me- looks nice and just about what I want-- Norm

Darn, your selling your boat. I was looking forward to years of fishing on that beauty. I sure am going to miss her.

Hey Bob, I got 1,500 for the fiberglass minito. :bounce: Thanks.

funny Bob. 550 dollars for the hull and trailer and 950 for the motor.

Glad for it too, it will lesson the blow of losing my TLD 30 II and Seeker Rod to some squid that thought a repala floating next to the boat was something he could eat. Next thing I know my 600 dollar rig is flying over the rail at 100 miles an hour. Who said 7-7-07 was lucky anyway.:?:

isn't there some kinda clip chain or something you use to tie off your poles/rigs when you're bait in?

There were many contributing factors to losing the Rod. My first time, by the way. First, it was not my boat, it was a small aluminum with little freeboard. We did not know squid were in the area, my partner had hooked up with something and I had reeled my line in, I set the pole down to gaff, what I thought was his fish, and my lure was still floating in the water next to the stopped boat. When whamo. I almost dove in after the thing until I realized, in a split second, what had taken it. I didn't want to be in the water with a thousand hungry 40lb squid, that were obviously, by that time, feeding on the surface.
