Nomad Baja Interactive Map

bajalou had this, Nomad Baja Interactive map, http://www.communitywalk.com/bajamexico/baja_nomad_interacti... on one of his posts. I went there and was entertained for a long time. The resolution is better than my google earth and what a great way to show where we Momads live and play. I did a Nomad search and didn't get anything. I think there should be a separate heading in the main menu for this and all Nomads should contribute to this site.

Google Earth is not real time and most photos are old. Go to Google Earth and down load it free. It's a kick. Just put in an address and you'll fly there.
I have a question. How do you get your project posted with thew others? I see my Map 143847 on my page but when I go back to what I think is home it is not listed.

Good start Russ. You can make your own maps, but you also can update the Baja Nomad Interactive Map.

Sharks knows how to link yours to the Nomad Interactive that he started several months ago.

The one I made of Valle Chico is linked from the Nomad Interactive

I think this is one of the best tools around today to give an idea of what's where in this Baja California world. Doesn't give you Lat/Long directions, but enough of a idea to tempt you sometimes.

Hmmm. Thanks for adding you three cents to the map Russ. As interest increases I'd be happy to oblige in various ways and will add more. The true beauty is the fact that any of us can contribute small or big. As a resource the possibilities are enormous plus all the photos could be easily accessed.
There really is great potential for this project.

I hope some more of the Baja Travelers will add some of their favorite spots with photos. My own travel is usually more local than a lot of you so show me where to go in other parts of Baja California and Baja California Sur. There is a somewhat similar project showing roads, accommodations, activities, attractions and much more for ALL of Africa. We ought to be able to make a reasonable map of what we like about Baja.

Had to fix some spelling.
