False alarm Dogs still missing.

I'm going to post this so you can all see but do you smell a rat in here somewhere?I just received this from The Rosarito Town Crier again in my email. This is getting to be a joke. I won't be posting anything else on this matter. I think someone is playing games,k

After my wonderful news this morning I'm heart broken. It turns out the guy that had my dogs lied. He really didn't and just wanted the reward. They are still lost. I don't know what to do... He tricked my husband... So please still keep looking for my dogs if you can... They are still missing and lost... I am sorry for the false good news...

Luckily my husband was smart enough to not give him the money... We just thought he had the dogs... It was sad...

I really think that this lady should (as suggested early on) post her own thread on this forum .... all we have ever been given is hearsay .
The Nomads have very big hearts, especially when it comes to their extended pet families, and they shouldn't be toyed with... And I appologize if this seems harsh, but there is something not right about this story. CaboRon

I don't know how many of you have been through a divorce.... but this is use and abuse of the Nomad system and everyone should realize this by now...I feel sorry for the dogs where ever they may be.
ELIZABETH U2U me...I offer nothing, but advice:(

A ransom note won't do. Unless I get a phone call from one of the dogs I'm just gonna assume this has all been a practical joke.

Completely agree. These dogs are standing on the tip of some iceberg that we can't begin to fathom. I would have a lot more faith in the "facts" as they've been given to us if the aggrieved party posted them herself. Whispers down the lane always get distorted, and I for one share Ron's feeling that we're being toyed with.

Now, I hope this whole story is fabricated and that there are no missing dogs. The way Nomads' hearts have been played with is really cruel. As sad as that is, and as sad as I feel, we'll get over it, but not without it taking its toll. We've seen stuff like this before in our lifetimes and each time we tend to get a little more jaded and cynical. That is the sad effect on we human beings.

But this story is about dogs, helpless and dependent and loving unconditionally. I am going to try and get some distance from this and prefer to not see any more on this board about this dog story, unless they are found and it is verifyed. Today, I am going to give my dog some extra attention and love.

We still don't know. We think we do but, we don't. How could anyone give up hope after looking into Shelbys eyes?

Thanks Toneart.... Shelby IS just as sweet as she looks! She turned 14 on June 1st and she is full of love for mankind! She is truely the finest example of man's best friend. If this lost dog story is true I really hope they recover their missing pets.

How old is Paco... great looking dog you have there.

Wow Bob! She sure doesn't look 14, she is beautiful!

toneart: Paco is real cute too. Is that sand in the foregorund he is sitting on? Sure looks weird.

Thank you Debra. The beach is El Pabellon, the way south end of San Quintin. He's sitting up by the dunes and I think the wind creates those sand patterns. He loves to run on that beach, or any beach!
