Toby RIP


This is Toby, our half black lab, half basset hound. She was one of the most comical dogs I have ever been around. She loved to go camping. Here she is at shipwrecks.

Her's a couple of Rufus, first 1 was taken last year at San Quintin, 2nd one taken a week ago at a campground in Lake Esinore. He's now almost 2 1/2 years old

That's not a muzzle...it is called a Halti or a snoot loop. We had to use them in training at CCI. McClure, (Pics above), was wearing one but you can't see it.

It is like a horse's halter...it is easier to direct and control a large dog than tugging on their neck. It does not restrict their mouth.

My sister just went with the Halti for her large Golden Ret. and loves it. They walk every morning and now they walk at her pace not the dogs. No more yelling and jurking. Training is easier too and she says that her dog doesn't mind it a bit. I'm getting one for Mason if I ever get back to the States.
