are you sure you have your time zones straight?
here in Central California on PDT it is very very dark at 9:50 p.m., and we are waaaaaaaaay West of you, and North as well...

Bajarunner - 20:11 is 8:11 p.m. as you know, did you get the correct time earlier?
When you fish around at the link posted initially, I recall you enter your zip code and the link then provides you with information based on that.
Here in the desert of CA the time was exact, the ISS clearly visible in the fading light of evening time. Only one or two stars were visible in
addition to the ISS.
Tomorrow a very narrow window 20:34 to 20:37 here, as the satellite orbit is much further to the north.
On the Heavens Above site there is considerably more information than just the International Space Station.

WOW!!! WHAT A SHOW!!!
Thank you, so much, for posting and alerting us.
That show was truly awesome, right on time, right on track, up close and personal.
Here in Central Cal it came right out of San Francisco and finally dropped out of view over the North Sierras (from our perspective)
And, it was really vivid!!!

(we saw the 9:49 showing- will try to catch one tomorrow as well)

You can't simply throw empties out the window. Because the space station is traveling really, really fast the bottles would blow back in and wind up
in the back seat. They drink out of cans.
Besides, it's easier to crush them in space...Think physics,man!

Oh, yeah.........I didn't think of the speed and all that glass flying around. Cans would be better 'cause you can't litter aluminum. Somebody will
be there to pick it up.
