Santiago

So there is no confusion as to the last response to your travel report:

The response was written by "fishinrich", he is a neighbor of mine in Abreojos and used my computer..for some reason he could not sign on with his own name.

This is also for the eyes and ears of the rest of the Nomads.

What's between Santaiago and Rich has nothing to do with "Capt. George" I make my own judgements regarding people and usually settle my differences in person.

good luck to you both! The Real Capt. George

For the record George. F'in Rich made it clear he was not you. I agree with Santiago's description of the guy. He definitely has the short mans complex bad. His post reflects the fact he judges people from a distance be it over the internet or in person. I wondered where he disappeared to after the East Cape. Now I know, no place in Baja is safe. :barf:

I got a U2U from a Nomad thinking it was me, sooooo!

Minnow, have you ever met fishinrich? He's not exactly Hannibal Lectar, maybe a distant relation, but not that bad once you get to know him. Just takes a while.

bueno dias Nomads cap'n g

Yes I have. I also have a very good friend who has fished with the guy. I know his whole story. It is a shame he can't find a good woman, maybe that would take the edge off his personality.

He used to come on the old Amigo's Board and Brag about how he never went anywhere in Mexico with less than 5k in his pocket. Seems to me like the machinations of someone who lives in fear.

About the U2U thing. I have come to realize most posters here do not read entire threads. They read one post, possibly in the beginning, middle, or near the end, that inspires them and they go off.

Got it and thanks for posting this. As I said in my U2U, I really did not think it was you and had pretty much narrowed it down to fishnrich.

Maybe I can take this opportunity to appologise (sp) to anyone who may have been offended that I included the beach scene. My m.o. is that when I get home, I sit down and spend about an hour typing up the log. I save these as a momento, along with the photos, and I include the good and bad. I normally just post the whole thing for whoever might be interested but did think about deleting that section. However, it was such a shock to meet someone on a baja beach that was so completely rude and not willing to help in anyway. Weird.
Howabout we all agree to just let this fade away..........

whistler,

You are failing at your own game.
I have found you quite willing to help with information on fishing, trucks, tires, abre, etc.
Of course no self-respecting fisherman would ask for your special spots or techniques without a serious quantity of beer in hand !!

It didn't sound like you Capt. George

We now have a family plan with our cell phones here in the US. Much to the consternation of my daughter, when she calles her latest beau, my name appears on her phone. Phew!

How goes the new home in La Paz?

La Paz? no mas! will stay here in Abreojos and this winter look around Nayarit on the mainland side...

Whistler, all these years, ever since you gave me my first piece of candy and took me into your back room to "show me your tackle", you kept telling me you were "Gene Kira"...

I believed that, but you know how you all look alike! Now that I know the truth, I will not ask any information from you again...I'll go to Mr. Nice Guy, fishinrich..he's just a regular chattie-kathy!

have a splendid day...I'm going off to do some volunteer work and offer fishinrich a couple hours of therapy...I'd do the same for you Gene, uh, Whistler, but your just too tall and that really peees me (and rich) off!

ok,ok,ok - now I get it. It's probably just as well the conversation didn't go any further 'cause the next thing I was gonna say was that the calicos I was catching the day before, after reading where to fish in Kira's book and hiring Juan, were way bigger the the little guys he was cleaning.

FISHINRICH

I have been around the east cape for over 20 years and would like to say most people throughout the world dream of living a life which Fishingrich lives!

Fishingrich likes to be called Ricardo these days. I am Mexican and I really admire the respect this gentlmen has for the mexican culture down here in B.C.S.

Ricardo recently spent the knight at my ranch near Santiago.

He really knows how to enjoy this beautiful world for all it offers.

Sincerely,

Luna
