Why don't you just send her an e-mail.... many of us do not monitor our U2Us more than once every one or two days.

Doesn't the U2U message alert appear at the top of the screen?

Probably because some people do not take a moment on their u2u and reply with a note 'message received' or answer the U2U??? That leaves the sender
wondering if the u2u ever got to the intended person.
Yes all Nomads can clearly see if they have a u2u because of the blue (hyper text) message that appears in the top, right corner each time you come to
Nomad or refresh the page... However, there are some who just don't see it for some reason until a nudge on the forum here...
Since there still isn't a limit on how many posts can show up per day, I think you don't need to worry about Nomad running out of room for everyone to
contribute something here...

For the record I check my U2U's every time I log on and got gypsy's message a few minutes after she posted it...she's just so excited she wants to
hook up with us like NOW! I only check once a day and when I'm super busy making margaritas or doing laundry, I might miss a day...at which point I
need a fix to help stop the Nomad withdrawl shakes. And sometimes if it's just a comment, I don't have time to answer them all. I love U2U's and check
it more than my actual email! So non nomads have a harder time getting through to us....hee hee

Somewhat dangerous to not be in the habit of logging off. It is OK if you ALWAYS use your own computer. But last year on a public computer in Mulege
I went to the Baja Nomad Forum and Diver had forgotten to log off.
I was good, but I could have created all kinds of trouble for Diver.
Actually, now that Diver is going to be our neighbor, next time we might have some fun if he forgets to log off.
