Rain!!!

Well it worked. Following Dan's advice,we, Nopolo Ed and I, after a few Pacificos, decide to go update and went from the Charleston to " The Funkie Chicken ".This ritual dance performed simultaneously with pounding the TomTom is almost crippling at our age,so, after 2 hours with NO rain,we decided for another break. However our efforts were rewarded with a little downpour last night. So, we must have stirred something.
Now Nopolo Ed and I have decided to upgrade our next effort some more. The next promising overcast day we are going to try " LINE DANCING ", more in line with the modern times. And Ed, brainy devil that he is, suggested to maybe make it into a concerted Tribal event ?? Butterfield? Grogan ? Loreto Bay people ? And the beach club's virgin grounds the venue ? Lots of room for a large gathering.:P:P

And ,yes Judy, very aware of being careful what you wish for.
Don't want to have to build an Ark.

But then again, who needs a desal plant  Let's dance!!!:P:P:lol::lol:

Rain in Todos Santos

Early this morning at around 5:30, a burst of forceful wind followed by about an hour of heavy rain. Not enough to cause any flooding but just enough to wash all the dust off everything outside and start a whole new cycle of the desert becoming green...

'" Funkie Chicken " worked really well after all. Must have been our slower then usual way of dancing. ( Age )
So it took longer to reach the rain gods.:P:P
Now we're worried what our Line Dancing would accomplish:?::?:
Maybe we better heed Judy's warning after all.:O:O

Almost nobody dances sober, unless they happen to be insane.

I was just in town (Loreto) and many of the streets are flooded, especially the ones being prepared for paving. Wonder if they forgot the drains????

It will be interesting to see if there is any precipitation left in Mr. Dean when he gets across to this side. Most of the models have his remnants traveling right up the S.O.C.

That's a big storm. I wish those in the Yucatan all the best.
