I used to run neverstarts on my boat. But uhmn, it would, well you know.
I bet an autoparts store down there would buy them. Mexican batteries are expensive and not as good.

Ahhhhh...
I was looking at a recent aireal photo on some other post and didn't see any panels. Didn't seem right to have all those nice batteries and charge
them with a generator!
That answers it.
But do show us the panels.

we now have 26-130w kroycera solar panels
36- 12v surette batteries
all wired to 24v to the inverters
the new pumps for the water are 9.6 amps at 115v
much bigger than we excepted
but way better and quieter
so...
since we have 3- 4000w trace inverters
we're going to stack two for the kitchen and two casitas (ours included)giving us 8000w
(we already have the cable anf transformer from another purchase)
and...
one for the two casitas and the lighthouse
we wired for two separate electrical systems
one for the kitchen and two casitas
one for the lighthouse and two casitas
we found out today we have 3 extra pumps and tanks
we'll only use one pump for the kitchen and faro
and one pump for 2 casitas each
so...
now we're only using three pumps for the water
much less electricty
now i can sleep
the stacked inverters (8000w) will handle the 2 pumps easily
the 4000w inverter will easily handle the one pump
a 4000w inverter will handle 36amps
we plan now to wire the 8000w inverter to the garage since it will only need to support the washer and the smaller 7 amp pump
we now also have the 25KW diesel generator to "back-up" the system so there will be no electrical outages
the 40 marine batteries we were using are NOW extra and not necessary
hope they will get a good home
added note....
the lcd lights from or friend in china are better than we thought
i thought they wouldn't put out enough light so i bought a bunch of compact light bulbs for us...
i already took those out and put in the lcd lights
very nice feel...
they are the soft white kind...not the blue
60w lcd uses 3-4w of power
low electrical usage
its called "forced participation in saving electricty"

the solar panels were on the roof of the garage but we were repairing it when that ariel shot was taken

the others will be up his week...
this week is "electrical week"

Nice group of batteries Bob.
How do they compare to 6 volt batteries amp hour wise?
If I were closer I'd scoop them up as we need fresh batteries this year.
$30 each is a great deal, I'll spend a lot more than that for 20- 6 volt batteries...
Tried to talk my wife into an emergency battery trip south but she said no go.
Haven't had a bad trip yet....
